Customizing your Word Press Login page and Logo

Yesterday I was updating some things on the website, and I was curious if there was a way to customize the wp-login.php page included with Word Press. This page is beautifully designed, but I like to spice up the things I tend to use everyday. After some google searching, I came up with a solution. Below are the Files you need to locate on your server to download. They are in wp-admin/images.

login-bkg-tile.gif (Login Screen)
login-bkg-bottom-new.gif (Login Screen)
wordpress-logo.png (Wordpress Logo)

Keep the same dimensions, and edit them to your pleasure. Then upload them to the same directory you found them.

Here are the examples of what I did. It was quickly done, I’m thinking I might go back and re-finish things.

Standard Logo for WordPress changed to New logo for Word Press

Standard WordPress Logo

New WordPress logo for Schario.net
